Nice to receive this question. We are happy to introduce the entire team. Seppe and Robbe are the owners of Pepas. But it’s important to have a great team in our snackbar.

Our students always serve you with a smile and lots of enthusiasm. A young and driven team, that's what gives Pepas energy.

Is everything 100% plant-based?

Food

Which snacks can I order?

Pepas offers you a wide range of 40 vegan snacks. Going from the typical ‘curryworst’ and ‘viandel’ to homemade carbonade and vol-au-vent.

Do you have any homemade snacks?

Definitely! We wanted to give you as wide an offer as possible and that means we had to be inventive. Unfortunately, basic snacks like viandel, grizzly and sito cannot be found in a vegan version.

Together with chef Yolan from Restaurant Lento, we came up with a recipe to die for, for the following snacks:

  • Viandel
  • Grizzly
  • Sitostick
  • Stew (sauce)
  • Vol-au-vent

Can I order online?

Yes, you certainly can. Pepas is available on TakeAway.

Do you serve snacks that are gluten-free?

Yes, our vegan cheese croquette is gluten-free. We are currently working on an expanded gluten-free range; we want to offer only the best quality. So we will continue to search for the time being until we can introduce new gluten-free snacks.

Check our menu for a complete overview of our range.

Are the gluten-free snacks fried in separate cooking oil?

For us, it is not practical to fry gluten-free snacks in a separate kettle. Gluten-free snacks are therefore fried in the same fat as the other snacks.

However, our fries come from a different kettle.

Can I buy frozen snacks?

Yes, you can. You can place your order at the checkout and ask for the snacks not to be fried. so you can surprise your guests at home with a delicious range of vegan fried snacks. The perfect party mix. ;)

What oil do you fry in?

We fry our fries and snacks in seed and sunflower oil. Why? Because it doesn't harm the environment and is also 50% healthier.

That means you can come and eat fries with us twice a week instead of once.... Pepas-math. ;)
